ϳԹ (ϳԹ) continues to strengthen its relationship with one of Australia’s closest neighbours through the introduction of a ϳԹ-Indonesian Partnership Award.

The awards—valued at up to AUD$5000—cover short-term travel and living costs for staff and PhD students, from ϳԹ and ϳԹ Indonesian partner universities, collaborating on a cross-institutional project.

Vice Chancellor Professor Debbie Terry said the ϳԹ Indonesian Partnership Award offered excellent support for staff from ϳԹ and its partner Indonesian institutions to explore future ϳԹ-Indonesia engagement opportunities.

“ϳԹ is proud of our history of strong partnership in Indonesia,” Professor Terry said.

“Our Faculties and schools are committed to continuing to build long term, sustainable collaborative activities in Indonesia.”

Indonesian students have been a valuable part of the ϳԹ community for over 50 years.

ϳԹ Indonesian alumni have attained leadership positions across Indonesian government, corporate and non-government organisations and include some of the University’s most enthusiastic ambassadors.

The ϳԹ-Indonesia Partnership Award 2012 application deadline is 30 September. Find out more about the award .
